Itacuruba Sport Club
Itacuruba Sport Club, usually called Itacuruba, is a Brazilian soccer team from Itacuruba, Pernambuco. It was founded on August 2, 1987. They play at Estádio Antônio Galdêncio Freire, nicknamed Galdenção, which holds up to 5,000 spectators. The club’s nicknames are Papão, Bicho-Papão and Alvenegro. They won the Pernambuco state third-level championship in 2001 and the second-level championship in 2002. Itacuruba competed in the Série C in 2005.
