Irving Hart
Irving Wallace Hart (September 23, 1851 – 1927) was an American politician in Oklahoma. He was born in New York City to Robert Hope and Margaret Irving Hart. In 1888, he married Mary Nancy Schell, and they had a daughter, Hazel Margaret Garringer. Hart moved west as a boy and settled in Woodward, Oklahoma Territory, in 1893, where he ran a general store. He was elected as a Democrat to the Oklahoma House of Representatives, representing Woodward County, and served from 1907 to 1909. While in office, he helped establish the West Oklahoma Hospital for the Insane. He died in 1927 in Oklahoma City.
