Passion and Paradise
Passion and Paradise is a 1989 American/British television crime-drama miniseries directed by Harvey Hart. It stars Armand Assante and Catherine Mary Stewart and runs about 185 minutes across two episodes. The story, based on James Leasor’s book Who Killed Sir Harry Oakes?, follows a famous Caribbean murder case. Filmed in Jamaica (Montego Bay and Cornwall), Hart won a Gemini Award for Best Direction in a Dramatic Program or Mini-Series for this work. Passion and Paradise originally aired on ABC in the United States from February 19 to 21, 1989, and later on ITV in the United Kingdom from August 28 to 29, 1990.
