Inn Galiyon Mein
Inn Galiyon Mein is a 2025 Indian Hindi romantic drama directed by Avinash Das. It is produced by Vinod Yadav and Neeru Yadav, with multiple co-producers. The film stars Jaaved Jaaferi, Vivaan Shah, and Avantika Dassani in lead roles, supported by Sushant Singh, Ishtiyak Khan, and Veenay Bhaskar.
Set in modern India, the movie looks at love and human relationships in the age of social media. It follows Hariya, Shabbo, and Mirza as they juggle traditional values with the new ways people connect online, exploring how online interactions affect romance, trust, and communication.
The film was announced in mid-2024 and shot in late 2024 in Uttar Pradesh and Delhi, finishing production in early 2025. Avantika Dassani makes her feature film debut here. The soundtrack is by Amaal Mallik, Saurabh Kalsi, and Arvind Sagole, with lyrics by Vimal Kashyap, Punarvasu, Yash Malviya, and Saurabh Kalsi. The second single, “Jaa Janam Jaa,” was released on 11 March 2025. Zee Music released the music, and Zee Studios distributed the film.
Inn Galiyon Mein was released on 14 March 2025, after a postponement from 28 February to align with Holi. The film runs for about 210 minutes.
Reception was mixed. Subhash K. Jha gave it 4 out of 5 stars, calling its positive mood and warmth appealing. Abhishek Srivastava of The Times of India gave it 3 out of 5, noting the screenplay was average but the film offers an important social message. Risha Ganguly of Times Now also rated it 3/5, saying the movie blends romance with contemporary social issues. Anuj Kumar of The Hindu described it as more of a dialogue-heavy piece that feels like theatre, but at 100 minutes it avoids being overly didactic. Hindustan Times gave 2.5/5, appreciating the timely message but questioning execution. At the box office, the film opened weakly with around ₹7 lakh in its first weekend and was considered a flop by Bollywood Hungama, despite its ambitions and cast.
