Miracles Still Happen
Miracles Still Happen (Italian: I miracoli accadono ancora) is a 1974 Italian drama film directed by Giuseppe Maria Scotese. It tells the true story of Juliane Koepcke, the sole survivor among 92 passengers and crew when LANSA Flight 508 crashed in the Peruvian rainforest on December 24, 1971. The film was shot on location in Peru and at Cinecittà Studios in Rome. Principal photography lasted 12 weeks, from October 9 to December 28, 1972. The movie runs 87 minutes and is in English. It was distributed by Brut Productions and released on July 19, 1974 in West Germany. The film was produced by Ninki Maslansky and Paul Maslansky (uncredited); written by Giuseppe Maria Scotese, from a story by Juliane Koepcke. Cinematography by Giorgio Tonti, editing by Giuliana Trippa, and music by Marcello Giombini.
