Immortal Combat (film)
Immortal Combat, also known as Resort to Kill, is a 1994 American action film directed by Dan Neira. It stars Sonny Chiba, Roddy Piper, Meg Foster, and Deron McBee. The story follows an L.A. police officer and an Asian exchange officer who become friends and reincarnated Mayan warriors. After a failed undercover drug operation at a luxury hotel, they are hunted by HybriCo, a ruthless company run by Quinn who creates invincible ninja warriors. A monstrous foe named Lister causes chaos, while Deron McBee’s final villain, the Signature Killer, closes in. The film runs 109 minutes, is in English, and received a 2 out of 5 from IGN. It’s often seen as a stepping stone toward Mortal Kombat.
