Campeonato Amazonense
Campeonato Amazonense, also known as the Barezão, is the top professional football league in Amazonas state, Brazil. It is organized by the Amazonas Football Federation (FAF). The competition began in 1914 as an amateur league and became professional in 1965. It sits at the top of the state football pyramid, with relegation to the Campeonato Amazonense Second Division for teams that finish at the bottom.
The league also connects with national cups, such as the Copa Verde and the Copa do Brasil. As of 2025, the current champions are Amazonas, winning their second title.
