"I'm Lost" is a 1944 song written by Otis René. It was recorded by Benny Carter and His Orchestra, with Dick Gray on vocals. The song reached number one on the Harlem Hit Parade and was Benny Carter's biggest hit on that chart. Unlike his earlier releases, it did not cross over to the mainstream pop charts.
