Hypochaeris sessiliflora, commonly called chikku chikku or cat's ear, is a small South American herb in the daisy family (Asteraceae). It grows from high Andean forests to the high-altitude páramo, at elevations of about 2,500 to 4,500 meters. The plant usually reaches only about 13 cm tall. Its flowers are typically yellow or white, but can be purple or orange. Each flower head has about 25 ray florets and no disc florets.
