Francisco Flores (Venezuelan footballer)
Francisco Javier Flores Sequera, born April 30, 1990 in Barquisimeto, Venezuela, is a professional footballer who plays as a defensive midfielder for Deportivo La Guaira and the Venezuela national team. He is 1.78 m tall.
He began his club career with Guaros FC in 2006, then moved to Deportivo Lara in 2009 where he became captain. He later played for Deportivo Anzoátegui, Deportivo Táchira, Mineros de Guayana, and Carabobo FC. In 2020 he had a stint with Independiente Medellín in Colombia, then returned to Venezuela to play for Deportivo Táchira (2021–2023) and Carabobo FC (2023–2024) before joining Deportivo La Guaira in 2025.
Internationally, Flores played for Venezuela’s Under-20 team, scoring once and helping the team reach the 2009 Egypt U-20 World Cup, and he has been part of the Venezuela senior national team since 2009.
