Hugh H. Rowatt
Hugh Howard Rowatt, CMG (August 17, 1861 – November 13, 1938) was a Canadian civil servant who served as the Commissioner of the Northwest Territories from March 31, 1931, to April 30, 1934. He worked in the Department of the Interior before his appointment. Rowatt was 69 when he was sworn in, making him the oldest person to hold the office. He was born on August 17, 1861, and died on November 13, 1938. He was married to Frances Adelaide Cummings in 1892, and they had four children. He was preceded by William Wallace Cory and succeeded by Charles Camsell.
