Hitalia is a studio album by Italian singer Gianna Nannini, released in 2014. The album features cover versions of classic Italian pop songs and was recorded at Abbey Road Studios in London, co-produced by Gianna Nannini and Wil Malone. It runs 56 minutes and 59 seconds and was released by RCA Records and Sony Music. Nannini describes Hitalia as a “sung biography,” choosing songs that follow an emotional path rather than an intellectual one, and says recording covers was a way to do something different from her previous work. The project includes guest appearances by Gino Paoli, Vasco Rossi, and Massimo Ranieri. Ivano Fossati’s “Dedicato” includes an extra verse not found in Loredana Bertè’s original. The lead single was “Lontano dagli occhi,” and the album was released on 1 December 2014.
