- What it is: The Government of Cantabria is the main governing body of Cantabria, directing politics and administration and holding executive and regulatory power in the region.
- Elections: Every four years, Cantabrian voters choose the party that will govern. The Cantabria Parliament elects the President, who then appoints the counselors (ministers).
- Current term: 2023–2027, a minority government led by the People’s Party.
- Budget: €3.56 billion (2024).
