Higashi-Niitsu Station (東新津駅, Higashi-Niitsu-eki) is a railway station in Akiha-ku, Niigata City, Niigata Prefecture, Japan. It is operated by East Japan Railway Company (JR East) and lies on the Ban'etsu West Line, 172.8 km from Kōriyama, the line's starting point. The station has one ground-level side platform serving a single bi-directional track. The station building is a small waiting room, and the station is unattended. Higashi-Niitsu Station opened on 20 February 1952. After the privatization of JNR on 1 April 1987, it came under JR East. The current station building dates from January 2001.
