Here I Am is a song by the English rock band Asking Alexandria. It was released on 18 March 2016 as the fifth and final single from their album The Black, and it was the last single with Denis Stoff as lead vocalist. Guitarist Ben Bruce explained that the track is about being completely open and true to themselves—no hiding, just showing who they are and what they’ve been through. The music video, directed by Steven Contreras, came out in May 2016 and shows the band playing in a field along with images of a girl and a hooded figure with a mask. The song runs 4:19, blends metalcore and post-hardcore, was released by Sumerian, and was written by Ben Bruce and Denis Stoff, produced by Joey Sturgis.
