Herbignac is a small town (a commune) in western France, in the Pays de la Loire region. It’s in the Loire-Atlantique department, near the town of Guérande and the city of Saint-Nazaire.

The town covers about 171 square kilometers and had 7,224 residents in 2023. The landscape ranges from sea level up to 55 meters high. The average height is around 15 meters. The local language names for Herbignac are Èrbinyac in Gallo and Erbigneg in Breton.
