Ministry of Railways

Ministry of Railways is a government department found in many countries, including many in the Commonwealth, where rail transport is a key part of the infrastructure. In places without a dedicated rail ministry, the rail duties usually go to the Ministry of Transport. The head of a Ministry of Railways is called the Minister of Railways or Railway Minister.
