Kerala Congress Democratic (KECD) is a political party in Kerala, India. It was formed on 19 April 2024 after breaking away from the Kerala Congress. Saji Manjakadambil, who was the Kottayam district president of Kerala Congress and the chairman of the United Democratic Front (Kerala), left his party to start KECD and joined the NDA alliance.

In February 2025, KECD split into three groups. The faction led by Saji Manjakadambil decided to merge with the All India Trinamool Congress. The other two factions, led by Ranjith Abraham Thomas and Adv. Rajesh Puliyaneth, stayed with the NDA. There is talk of a broader merger of Kerala Congress factions within the NDA, including KECD (led by Ranjith Abraham Thomas), Kerala Congress(N) led by Kuruvila Mathews, Kerala Congress(S) led by Kallada Das, Kerala Vikas Congress led by Prof. Prakash Kuriakose, and the National Progressive Party of V. V. Augustine, along with some former Kerala Congress leaders such as George J. Mathew, V. Surendran Pillai, Mathew Stephen, M. V. Mani, George Sebastian, and Jerry Easow Oommen.

KECD’s basic details: Abbreviation KECD; Chairman Saji Manjakadambil; Founded 19 April 2024; Dissolved 2025; Colors white and red; Status unrecognized by the Election Commission; Alliance NDA (Kerala) from 2024 to 26 February 2025; No seats in Rajya Sabha, Lok Sabha, or Kerala Legislative Assembly. The party later merged into the All India Trinamool Congress.
