Heinz Kunert
Heinz Kunert (25 March 1927 – 6 April 2012) was a German engineer and inventor. He was born in Sarnów, Gliwice County. Kunert studied philosophy, physics and psychology at the University of Bonn. He invented the first rear-window defogger for cars. From 1957 to 1992 he worked in Cologne for the glass company Sekurit Glas-Union GmbH.
