Joyeuxiella
Joyeuxiella is a genus of flatworms in the family Dipylidiidae. They are found in warm regions around the world and infect cats, dogs, and wild carnivores. Their life cycle uses intermediate hosts such as feces-eating beetles, reptiles, and small mammals. In Iran, two endangered Eurasian lynx were found to be infected, and the parasites were linked to their deaths. Unlike some related flatworms, Joyeuxiella egg sacs contain only one egg. There are three accepted species in the genus.
