Hanson baronets
There have been two Hanson baronetcies in the United Kingdom. As of 2010, one of them remains in existence.
Hanson Baronetcy, of Bryanston Square, Middlesex:
- Created on 6 June 1887 for Reginald Hanson, who was Lord Mayor of London (1886–1887) and later a Conservative MP for the City of London.
- The title became extinct when the fourth Baronet died in 1996.
- The first Baronet’s second son, Sir Francis Hanson (1868–1919), was a well-known London merchant and was knighted in 1908.
Hanson Baronetcy, of Fowey, Cornwall:
- Created on 6 July 1918 for Charles Hanson, who was Lord Mayor of London (1917–1918) and a Conservative MP for Bodmin.
- The heir apparent is Alexis Charles Hanson (born 1978), the present holder’s son.
