Dennis De Souza (1935–2012) was a Caribbean pianist known for instrumental renditions of pop, classical, soca and calypso tunes. Born in the Demerara region of Guyana and of Portuguese descent, he planned to sail to England but missed the ship. He settled in Trinidad and Tobago, where he married Angela. He later moved to Canada, where he lived until his death. He had five children, including Dennis Jr. and Rhonda De Souza (1962–2000), who became a pop performer in Trinidad and Tobago in the late 1970s and early 1980s.
