Gyalaphug
Gyalaphug, also known as Jieluobu, is a village on a disputed border between Bhutan and China. China announced its establishment in October 2015. Bhutan says the village lies inside Beyul, Lhuntse District in Bhutan, while China places it in Lhodrak, Tibet. The area is controlled by China and is part of a poverty alleviation program. The local income is about 16,000 yuan per person per year, up from about 3,000 yuan in 2016.
