Guild Esports
Guild Esports & Gaming LTD was a UK-based professional esports company, founded on September 3, 2019 (originally as The Lords eSports PLC). It became the first esports firm listed on the London Stock Exchange after a 2020 IPO, raising about £20 million.
Headquartered in Shoreditch, London, Guild opened a long-term HQ and training facility in 2022. The organization fielded competitive teams across multiple titles—Fortnite, FC 25, sim racing (Rennsport, iRacing), and PUBG Mobile—and won major trophies including the Fortnite Champion Series and the Rocket League EU Spring Regional. In March 2025, Guild won the Racing Prodigy P3 Championship in Sim Racing.
Beyond competition, Guild ran a creative agency with an in-house studio, delivering campaigns to reach gaming audiences. It also led The Lobby, a Women in Gaming initiative created with Sky, offering live events access, studio work, and a prize pool of £50,000. A Sky partnership, established in 2022, was reportedly worth around £2 million per year.
In 2024, Guild joined the Esports World Cup Club Support Program to expand into more titles and expanded its media presence by acquiring Encore and a stake in Ginx TV. In October 2024, Guild Esports was acquired by DCB Sports, a US-based group, and became a private company.
Guild operated in eleven titles and earned multiple trophies across games. However, in August 2025 the company closed due to financial challenges and the difficult economic climate, and it was delisted from the London Stock Exchange.
