Guided Tour is a jazz studio album by American vibraphonist Gary Burton. It was released on August 6, 2013, and recorded in New York City at MSR Studios. The album features guitarist Julian Lage, bassist Scott Colley, and drummer Antonio Sánchez, and was released on Mack Avenue Records (MAC1074). Running 1 hour, 4 minutes, and 49 seconds, it contains 10 tracks that pay tribute to Thelonious Monk, Bill Evans, Jim Hall, and Astor Piazzolla, with eight tunes written by the band members. This was Burton’s final studio album before his 2017 retirement. Critics praised the quartet’s chemistry and Burton’s continuing creativity, noting the rich, textural sound he creates with just four musicians.
