Jebrayel
Jebrayel (Arabic: جبرايل) is a small town in Akkar Governorate, Lebanon. It covers about 5.3 square kilometers and sits around 420 meters above sea level. In 2009 it had about 1,826 residents, mainly Antiochian Orthodox Christians. The dialing code is +961 and the time zone is UTC+2 (DST UTC+3). In 1838, Eli Smith noted it as Jibra'il, east of esh-Sheikh Mohammed, with inhabitants described as Greek Orthodox Christians.
