Goose Lake is a small kettle lake in Anchorage, Alaska. It lies near the University of Alaska Anchorage and about 1.2 miles southeast of where the North and South Forks of Chester Creek meet, and about 2.8 miles southeast of downtown Anchorage near the Cook Inlet Low area. In summer, it’s a popular place to swim and has one of the city’s two municipal beaches. The lake is connected to Anchorage’s extensive trail system, making it easy to reach by foot or bike.
