Golden Lotus Medal of Honour
Golden Lotus Medal of Honour (Portuguese: Medalha de Honra Lótus de Ouro; Chinese: 金蓮花榮譽勳章; pinyin: Jīn liánhuā róngyù xūnzhāng) is the second-highest award in Macau’s honors system. It is presented by the Macau SAR to individuals who have provided exceptional services that enhance Macau’s image and good name, either in Macau or abroad, or who have contributed in any field with great importance to Macau’s development. The medal was established in 2001, and the first award was given in 2001. In precedence, it comes after the Grand Lotus Medal of Honour and before the Silver Lotus Medal of Honour.
