New Mexico State Road 72
New Mexico State Road 72 (NM 72) is a 36-mile state highway in northern New Mexico. It starts at I-25 in Raton on the west end and ends at NM 456 in Folsom on the east end. The road climbs over Johnson Mesa, and it’s the only public road that reaches the top of that mesa in the Raton-Clayton volcanic field.
