Gloucester TMD

Gloucester TMD is a traction maintenance depot in Gloucester, England, on the Great Western Main Line just east of Gloucester station (north side of the line). The depot code is GL, in use since 1973, and it is owned by Great Western Railway. In the late 1980s the depot housed Class 08 locomotives and two Class 97 departmental shunters, and it also stabled Classes 31, 45, 47 and 50. By 2016 it had no active locomotive allocation and was used as a stabling point for Great Western Railway Class 158 Sprinters.
