Taylor's fat-tailed gecko
Taylor's fat-tailed gecko (Hemitheconyx taylori) is a small lizard found in northeastern Africa. It is also known as Taylor's fat-tail gecko and belongs to the gecko family Eublepharidae. This species lives in deserts in eastern Ethiopia and northern Somalia, at elevations of about 640–1,250 meters (2,100–4,100 feet). It tends to be active at night and may spend time underground. It lays eggs (oviparous).
