Giuseppe Murnigotti
Giuseppe Murnigotti (born in Martinengo, 1834 – died in Nice, France, 1903) was an Italian inventor known for his work on motorcycles. He filed five patent applications during his life. The third patent, filed in 1879, described a motorcycle powered by a gaseous fuel (likely hydrogen) and a tricycle with the same engine that could carry two passengers. He never built a working prototype, but a model is in the Museum of Science and Technology in Milan.
