Tasta
Tasta is a northern borough of Stavanger city in Rogaland county, Western Norway. It covers 10.87 square kilometers and had about 15,379 residents in 2016, giving a population density of around 1,415 people per square kilometer. The area sits about 65 meters above sea level. The postal code is 4029 Stavanger.
Note: Before 2020, the eastern half of the island Åmøy was part of Tasta, but since 2020 that area is in Rennesøy.
Local clubs include Tasta IL and Vardeneset BK. The borough roughly consists of the neighborhoods Indre Tasta and Ytre Tasta. Tasta is governed by a municipal borough council with 11 members.
