George William Sahlmark
George William Sahlmark (December 8, 1874 – 1962) was a physician and political figure in Saskatchewan. He served as a Liberal member of the Legislative Assembly for Saltcoats from 1918 to 1929.
He was born in Morris, Minnesota, to Swedish-born parents A.G. Sahlmark and Kate Anderson. He studied in Minnesota and at the University of Manitoba, and came to Canada in 1887. After teaching for several years, he practiced medicine in Saltcoats. In 1909 he married Clara A. Boyle.
Sahlmark was first elected in a 1918 by-election after James Alexander Calder left the legislature to run for the Canadian House of Commons.
