Geoffrey David Sewell (born 13 March 1972) is a New Zealand tenor known for classical crossover music. He is the CEO of Incognito Artists in London and co-created the pop-opera group Amici Forever.

Early life and education
Sewell was born in Wellington, New Zealand. His older sister Julie died young, which inspired him to pursue singing. He attended Plimmerton Primary, Havelock North Intermediate and High School. As a boy soprano, he sang in his school choir and later took singing lessons. He earned a Bachelor of Commerce from Victoria University of Wellington and studied opera and musical theatre at the Boston Conservatory in the United States.

Career beginnings
He worked as a chartered accountant in New Zealand and then in London, where he also did recruitment work while performing in the West End. In 2000, he founded Incognito Artists in London with his wife, Simone Lanham, and Tim Rogers. The company creates surprise performances for events and concerts, with performers blending into crowds before singing and dancing.

Amici Forever and solo career
Sewell helped form Amici Forever in 2002, a classical crossover group often described as an opera band. The original lineup included two tenors (Sewell and David Habbin), a baritone (Nick Garrett), and two sopranos (Jo Appleby, Tsakane Valentine). The group achieved international success with albums like The Opera Band and Defined. Sewell left Amici Forever in 2006 to focus on his solo career after his eldest daughter Sienna was diagnosed with autism.

His solo debut, Believe, was released in 2008 and sold millions of copies worldwide. He has toured extensively in the UK, North America, Japan, Singapore, Australia and New Zealand, and has performed for royalty and celebrities alike.

Awards, charity and leadership
Sewell has received several honors, including nominations for Classical Brit Awards and various recognitions in New Zealand. He is a champion of autism awareness, influenced by his daughter’s diagnosis, and established The Geoff & Simone Sewell Foundation in New Zealand in 2010 to help families affected by autism. He supports autism and epilepsy charities in the UK and has coordinated numerous charitable appearances through Incognito Artists.
