Alfred Rose (15 February 1894 – 21 June 1985) was an English cricketer who played for Derbyshire in 1924. He was born in Glossop, Derbyshire. In the 1924 season, he appeared in one first-class match, in May against Lancashire. He batted in the middle order and scored zero runs before being dismissed by Cec Parkin, as eight others in the innings were also dismissed. Later that summer, when asked to play again, he said he was too old for that level of cricket. He died in Kilton, Nottinghamshire, aged 91.
