Gabrán mac Domangairt
Gabrán mac Domangairt, also known as Gabrán the Traitor (Gwran Wradouc) and in Old Welsh as Gawran map Dinwarch, was a king of Dál Riata in the mid-6th century. He is the ancestor of the Cenél nGabráin. He was the son of Domangart Réti and the father of Áedán mac Gabráin. Very little is known about him; the main record is his death noted in Irish and Welsh annals. Some say his death was connected to fleeing from Bridei mac Maelchon, but that may be coincidental.
