Glasat na Bulgaria Season 8 aired on bTV from September 12 to December 12, 2021, with episodes at 8:00 PM. The show was hosted by Ivan Tishev, with Alexandra Bogdanska as backstage host. The coaching panel featured Ivan Lechev returning for his fifth season, and three new coaches: Lubo Kirov, Galena, and Dara, replacing Grafa, Kamelia, and Mihaela Fileva.

Petya Paneva won the season, mentored by Galena, with Georgi Kostadinov as the runner-up — also from Galena’s team. This marked Galena’s first win as a coach and the third time a first‑time coach won (after Desi Slava in season 3 and Ivan Lechev in season 4). The top two finalists were both from Galena’s team, a first in the show’s history, and the season also produced the first contestant to audition who went on to win.

Due to COVID-19, the live audience was reduced. Each coach started with up to 14 artists after the blind auditions, and the season included two “blocks” during auditions. Battles began on October 31 with advisers: Maria Ilieva for Lubo, Atanas Penev for Ivan, Doni for Dara, and Medi + Georgi Simeonov for Galena. Each coach could steal one contestant. Eight artists per team advanced to the Knockouts.

Knockouts started on November 21, with Ishtar as the Mega mentor for all teams. Galena had seven artists due to Galya Georgieva’s withdrawal. Cross Battles aired on December 5, live public voting determined the outcomes.

The final six performed in three rounds. In the end, Petya Paneva won the title, with Georgi Kostadinov as the runner-up. Notably, Lubo Kirov finished the season with no artists in the grand finale.
