Frets Butuan
Frets Listanto Butuan, born on June 4, 1996, in Ternate, Indonesia, is a professional footballer who plays as a winger for Malut United in the Indonesian Super League. He is 1.67 meters tall and wears the number 21.
He started playing football young and trained at SSB Adidas Halbar. In 2015 he left Ternate to study with the Indonesian National Armed Forces in Ambon until 2016, then served in Kostrad Jakarta. While in the army, he began his professional career with PS TNI and played in the 2016 Torabika Soccer Championship; the PS TNI headquarters were near his army base in Bogor.
In 2017 he moved to PSMS Medan to play in Liga 2, and later joined Persib Bandung, where he played from 2019 to 2023. In 2023 he joined Malut United.
Career stats (as of January 31, 2026): PS TNI – 6 appearances, 1 goal; PSMS Medan – 50 appearances, 9 goals; Persib Bandung – 91 appearances, 11 goals; Malut United – 53 appearances, 4 goals.
