Vivimed Labs Limited is an Indian company that makes specialty chemicals and pharmaceuticals. Based in Hyderabad, it serves more than 50 countries and runs SBUs in the United States (Vivimed Labs USA Inc) and Europe (Vivimed Labs Europe), with a marketing office in China. The company focuses on cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, nutraceuticals, photochromics, natural actives, colors and dyes, and produces active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs), home and personal care ingredients, hair dyes, and imaging chemicals.

History and growth: Founded in 1988 as Emgi Pharmaceuticals & Chemicals Private Limited by Dr. V. Manohar Rao, it was renamed Vivimed Labs Limited in 1997. It listed on the BSE and NSE in 2005. In 2007, VVS Pharma merged with Vivimed. In 2008, Vivimed acquired James Robinson, a long-established maker of hair dyes and photochromics, and this business was integrated as Vivimed Labs Europe in 2010.
