Fred Sutcliffe (29 May 1931 – 10 February 1972) was an English footballer who played as an inside left or wing half. He started with Birmingham City (1951–1952) but never played for their first team. He then played in the Football League for Chester, making 50 appearances and scoring 2 goals between 1952 and 1955. After Chester, he spent time in non-league football with Northwich Victoria in two spells and with Winsford United. Sutcliffe died in Chester on 10 February 1972, aged 40.
