Francesco Forgione (born 15 August 1960 in Catanzaro, Italy) is an Italian journalist and politician. He served as a member of the Chamber of Deputies from 28 April 2006 to 28 April 2008, representing Sicily 2. He was the chair of the Antimafia Commission from 2006 to 2008. Over the years he was part of several left-wing parties: PdUP (1978–1984), PCI (1984–1991), PRC (1991–2009), and SEL (2010–2016). He was Mayor of Favignana from 6 October 2020 to 14 February 2025, succeeding Giuseppe Pagoto and later being succeeded by him. He is professionally a journalist.
