Forever (Cracker album)
Forever is the fifth studio album by Cracker. It was released January 29, 2002, and recorded at Sound of Music Studios in Richmond, Virginia. The album, which runs 58 minutes and 25 seconds, is an alternative rock record released on Virgin and produced by David Lowery. It sits in Cracker’s discography after Garage d’Or (2000) and before O’ Cracker Where Art Thou? (2003).
Most songs were written by David Lowery and John Hickman. To promote the album, Cracker performed “Shine” on the Late Show with David Letterman and “Merry Christmas Emily” on The Late Late Show. A 2002 edition included a second disc with 11 live tracks titled Hello, Cleveland! Live from the Metro.
