Hec Crighton

Hec Crighton (April 2, 1900 – April 17, 1967) was a Canadian football coach from Toronto. He spent 35 seasons coaching high school football and helped rewrite the game’s rule book in 1952. He was inducted into the Canadian Football Hall of Fame in 1986. The annual Hec Crighton Trophy, named after him, goes to the top university football player in Canada.
