Floyd Lee Collier (May 10, 1924 – September 3, 2002) was an American football tackle. He was born in Fresno, California, and attended Exeter Union High School in Exeter. He started college at San Jose State College in 1942, playing football for the Spartans and competing in discus and javelin. His studies were interrupted by World War II, during which he served in the U.S. Navy. While in the Navy, he was the starting tackle for the 1944 Saint Mary's Pre-Flight Air Devils football team, which finished No. 19 in the final AP poll. After the war, he attended the University of Southern California and played for the 1946 USC Trojans. In 1948, Collier played professional football in the All-America Football Conference for the San Francisco 49ers, appearing in 12 of the team’s 14 games; the 49ers finished 12–2 and averaged over 35 points per game. He stood 6 feet 1 inch tall and weighed 215 pounds. Collier died in Laguna Hills, California, at age 78.
