Fleur van der Weel

Fleur van der Weel (born 9 February 1970 in Middelburg) is a Dutch illustrator. In 2004, she and Edward van de Vendel won the Woutertje Pieterse Prijs for the book Superguppie (2003). She also received a Vlag en Wimpel award for the illustrations in that book. They later published several more titles in the Superguppie series. In 2012, they released Hallo, a picture book for Kinderboekenweek. Van der Weel has illustrated books by authors such as Bibi Dumon Tak, Fiona Rempt, Magda Ria Rapoye and Rindert Kromhout.
