Femi Temowo (born 15 September 1976) is a Nigerian-born British jazz guitarist, musical director, producer and broadcaster. He was born in Akure, Nigeria, and moved to London at age 10. He began playing guitar at 17 and started performing professionally by 21. Temowo also hosts Jazz Alive twice weekly on Premier Gospel radio. In 2006 he released his debut solo album, Quiet Storm, on his own label, Femitone Music. His music blends his Nigerian roots with his life in the UK, mixing jazz with world, hip-hop and pop influences. He plays guitar and sings and has been active since 1999.
