Eagle Strikers FC
Eagle Strikers Football Club was a Malawian soccer team from Mzuzu in the Northern Region. They played in Malawi’s top league, the TNM Super League, for a few seasons and were sponsored by the Malawi Police (sometimes known as Nkhata Bay Police). Their first noted season was 1997–98, when they finished last and left the league. In 2006 they won the Northern Region Football League (the second division) and earned promotion to the top division. They stayed in the Super League for four seasons, but finished 15th in 2010–11 and were relegated. In 2013, funding from the Malawi Police stopped. Home games were at Mzuzu Stadium, which has a capacity of 10,000.
