Fat City Reprise was a five‑piece indie rock band from South Philadelphia, active from 2003 to 2011. The name comes from Hunter S. Thompson’s 1970 bid for sheriff in Pitkin County, Colorado. The original members were Frank Pedano (vocals, keys), Eric Cifone (drums), Nick Anastasi (lead guitar), Tony Trov (vocals, bass), and Thomas J. Perko (vocals, guitar). They gained attention by sharing live bootlegs of their shows.

Later, with Nick Anastasi on guitars, James Miraglia (drums), Frank Pedano (lead vocals, keys), Thomas J. Perko (guitar), and Michael Vivas (bass, backing vocals), they started working with Mike Lowe of Lowe Records. They recorded their self‑titled debut at Larry Gold’s Studio, which was released in May 2007. Perko left during the recording, and any tracks featuring his guitar are noted on the album artwork; all songs are credited to Fat City Reprise.

In February 2008, The Roots invited them to perform at their Pre‑Grammy party at the Key Club in Los Angeles, sharing the stage with Patrick Stump, Seal, Travis Barker, MC Lyte, Doug E. Fresh, Bilal, Corinne Bailey Rae, and Travis McCoy of Gym Class Heroes. The exposure helped fuel a West Coast tour, and the band relocated to Los Angeles.

In October 2009, Nick Anastasi and Michael Vivas left the band. A second studio album, Pirate Radio, was never released. Fat City Reprise ended in 2011 when the last original member left Lowe Records.
