David Lewis Treasure (6 November 1943 – 19 May 2018) was an Australian politician from Victoria. He belonged to the National Party and served as the member for Gippsland East in the Victorian Legislative Assembly from October 1992 to September 1999. He was born in Sale, Victoria, to Donald Treasure and Linda Traill. He attended Dargo and Lindenow South primary schools and Bairnsdale Technical School for secondary education. He became a grazier and worked in export business to West Africa. He had two children and later three grandchildren. Treasure was active in farming groups, serving as president of the Mountain Cattlemen's Association (1987–1988) and as chair of the Droving Australia Victorian Selection Panel in 1988. He also served as Avon Shire Councillor from 1970 to 1976. He lost his seat in 1999 to independent Craig Ingram. He died in May 2018 at the age of 74.
